Guitar Hero: Metallica spotted?

Another version inbound, it would seem...

We're already waiting on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, in addition to the full Guitar Hero IV (which will usher in multi-instrument support, among other things), and now it seems likely we can look forward to Guitar Hero: Metallica too.


Presumably taking its cues from the Aerosmith game, which focusses on the growth of the rock band, their music and their beginnings, we're told Metallica's solo effort could be be released in early 2009.

"In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms," says GameSpot quoting Wedbush Morgan analyst Ed Woo, who dug this news up himself from an SEC filing.

    Guitar Hero Metallica, heh it has a nice ring to it.

    By the way I have a few GH Aerosmith videos to upload so tune in :)
