Doom 4 in Development

ID games, who brought us the Wolfenstein and Doom games, has announced that the latest installment, Doom 4, is now in production. This latest episode promises to bring Hell to earth, sounding more like Doom 2 than 3, which was essentially a remake of the first game. It's been 4 years since the last release, and this release is promised for Xbox360, PS3 and PC.

ID are currently expanding their creative team to ensure this is the biggest and best release for the popular series. Launch date is yet to be confirmed.
